Your information matters

Privacy Policy

Effective September 7, 2026

Information we collect

Our intake, referral, and training forms collect contact information and basic coordination details you choose to provide. Participant Intake uses an age range rather than an exact birth date and limits court questions to general scheduling and case-stage information.

Information you should not submit

Do not send discovery, police reports, evidence, Social Security numbers, medical records, passwords, witness statements, identity or immigration documents, financial account information, privileged attorney-client communications, confidential legal strategy, or unnecessary criminal-history details. These forms do not accept file uploads.

How information is used

Information is used to route requests, respond to you, coordinate community support or training, and improve Hub operations. It should be accessed only by authorized people responsible for those activities.

Sharing and retention

We do not sell form information. Information may be shared among the appropriate Philadelphia Participatory Defense Hub team members or a partner you ask us to involve. Records should be kept only as long as reasonably needed for follow-up, operations, safety, or applicable legal obligations.

Tracking and spam protection

We minimize unnecessary tracking. Forms use a non-visible anti-spam field and do not use submitted information for advertising.

Your choices

You may contact a Hub directly instead of using a form. You may request correction or deletion of submitted information from the Hub that responded, subject to operational or legal retention needs.

Security and limits

We use reasonable safeguards, but no online system can guarantee absolute security. For urgent, highly sensitive, or deadline-related matters, contact your attorney or the appropriate Hub directly.

Changes

We may update this policy as the website and Hub practices develop. The effective date identifies the current version.
